This is the only photograph ever provided of this unique California pattern, and even this example has been photo-shopped as much as possible to at least show the details as best as possible. The owner of this piece claims that they do not have access to it as it is somewhere in a relative’s house. I offered a substantial sum, just for good pictures of the piece, or to have someone visit and have better photos taken. All such attempts were refused. So it’s possible that the one and only known example will never see the light of day again, given where it is said to be “buried”. Thus - this may be the best and only photos we will ever see of this unique piece. It is always such a shame when important items like this one and only California pattern is essentially lost.
