I dug around the web a bit, and I found a Canadian numismatic newsletter from 1983 which mentions the token and dates it to 1961. Hope this helps. Here’s a link:
You are correct, Loran. Although I still haven’t figured out a firm date on this piece yet and any help would be appreciated. Perhaps the cartoon type figure on the obverse might help determine who that politician is. Any Canadian collectors out there? Any help appreciated. Monte
